Every HexArmor product is made with SuperFabric brand material by Higher Dimension Materials, Inc. SuperFabric brand material was invented by HDM, Inc. to be highly cut, puncture, and abrasion resistant. The result is a technology so innovative it is being tested for use by the U.S. military and even NASA. The “super” qualities of the fabric include higher cut resistance than most products on the market, significantly more so than KEVLAR®, as well as greater puncture and abrasion resistance than any product on the market. It offers all this and is 100% washable, without compromising product integrity or dexterity.
HexArmor has partnered with HDM and is the exclusive manufacturer of industrial safety products using this technology. Before this breakthrough, providing safety and product enhancements had always been a series of compromises: cut resistance but no puncture resistance, poor comfort, poor dexterity, inadequate grip, or little or no breathability.
